OLCAns bag awards in Battle of the Articles

     Four OLCAns performed great in Achieve3000 national competition, Battle of the Articles last December 4, 2015 at Dominican School Manila.
     Both Grade 7 Alea Serrano and Grade 8 Zeus Cortez ranked first place, Grade 9 Denise Maureen Ginete ranked second place, and Grade 10 Eunice Garces ranked third place.
     Before competing in this national event, they underwent numerous trainings to develop their skills in the comprehensive, analytical, and vocabulary aspects of the assigned articles which were given before the contest was held.
     The students were coached by Mrs. Gennie Grace Molina, Mrs. Elsie Andal, and Mr. Benedict Geron.

     “The love of family is life’s greatest blessing.” Among all the blessings we will ever receive in our lifetime, nothing will be better than the gift of family. Our family is people of our own blood and flesh, a source of love, strength and happiness in our lives. This is why we must never forget to spend time with our family, for giving time to someone is the best way to express your love for them. We sometimes get too caught up on our lives as students and in the same way our parents, at times; can be too focused in with their work in order to give us a bright future. This why making time for family bonding is essential hence here in OLCA, we celebrate family day yearly.

OLCA adopts AdSIL

     OLCA, supportive of One USAL (Unified Schools of the Archdiocese of Lipa), One Governance platforms recently adopted Academia de San Isidro Labrador, a small school in the nearby municipality of San Luis, Batangas. It has DepED recognition numbers for NKP (Nursery, Kindergarten and Preparatory) and Elementary, K-052, s. 2011 and E-188, s. 2014, respectively.
